Heuristic evaluation is a process where an evaluator use heuristic principles to measure the usability of user interfaces, navigational structures and visual appearances. This method revealed insights that helped enhance the user experience on their website. Usability testing is a technique used in user-centered interaction design. In this case, it was used to evaluate the user experience on the website by testing it in the users. Thiss form og test gives direct insights on how real users use the website by performing simple tasks.
User Experience focuses on having a deep understanding of the users, what they think, feel, and need.
Aiming to find usability problems in an user interface design and how user-friendly an application is performing.

The heuristic evaluation showed users challenges in relation to the factors mentioned above. As a result, a list of usability problems with references to the principles that were violated was given. Focusing on usability, it was important to improve the website based upon the Heuristic Evaluation before performing Usability Testing with representatives. The usability testing report displayed the findings with an action plan featuring the importance rate and the priority of issues that needed to be improved.
